The Psychology Student

A man sees an attractive girl in the pub and offers her a
drink.
DID YOU SAY A HOTEL? she loudly replies.
The man nervously explains that what he had suggested was
a drink.
YOU WANT TO TAKE ME TO A HOTEL? she shrieks. Everybody was
staring at him by now so he slunk off into a corner by
himself.
Later on the girl comes over to him and apologises,
explaining that she is a psychology student and just
wanted to note his reactions for a term paper she is doing.
The man shouts FIFTY POUNDS, YOU MUST BE JOKING!
